(Grand Bend ON) Track management has announced a bit of spicing up of the competition at the Bull Ring By the Beach for the duration of the season. Two drivers in the top classes have been rather dominate thus far in to the season, and will now have a $250 bounty put on them.
Auto Fusion Towing Can-Am Legends Series
Riley Michigan driver Sean McPherson has won the first 3 races at GBS this season. The 2013 Grand Bend Speedway Track Champion brings experience, astute racing knowledge and a preparedness to the track every event they compete in. Any Driver/Team that can win the feature race at Grand Bend Speedway and beating Sean McPherson and the #13 car, will be awarded an additional $250 cash prize. McPherson must be beaten fair and square, in the feature event. A spin to win scenario will not result in the collection of the bounty. McPherson must be in attendance of the event, and attempt to qualify for the feature event, but not necessarily start the feature race for the other drivers to collect the $250. Any competitor in the Ontario Legends, Sawyers Chevrolet Michigan Legends Series, Auto Fusion Towing Can-Am Legends Series and any other INEX sanctioned Legends Team are eligible to compete.
The bounty will remain on Sean McPherson until it is collected for the duration of the Grand Bend Speedway Legends Schedule. June 28,August 2, August 7, andSeptember 6.
London Drive Systems 4 Funs – $250 BOUNTY on Kenny McNicol Jr
Exeter driver, Kenny McNicol Jr #17 has been on a terror this year on the Grand Bend Oval in 2014. Many drivers have taken a shot at him of late, Steve Lovie, Derek Moesker, Kyle Neumeister, Nic Ramsey, Nathan Taback are just a few of the names that have given McNicol some trouble this year. However, McNicol has not yet been beaten on the Oval. (Moesker was victorious on the Road Course June 1)
