INNISFIL, Ont. – Brian Love would battle hard on Saturday night on his way to finishing 20th in the 25-lap Mini Stock feature against some of the best drivers in the province.
Love started off the night with a decent finish in his heat, though it wouldn’t be enough to qualify him automatically into the feature. As a result, he would have to run the third b-main, where he posted a solid third place finish to qualify for the main event.
Love’s qualifying effort earned him a fifth place starting spot. He would battle hard, though would drop through the pack versus some of the quicker cars, ultimately finishing 20th.
Love commented post-race that one of the issues plaguing his night was the motor as it was set to blow any moment. With that said, Love and the whole No.04 team will be working at getting the motor changed before the next event.
Special thanks to Fox’s Bakery and Deli, Eckhart Auto Sales, Tire Depot Barrie, The Stone Grille Restaurant and Bar, Chico Bins + Disposal and Garry Mercer Trucking Incorporated for their continued support.
