INNSFIL, Ontario – In a racing career highlighted with specials wins and awards, Brian Love would cap it off in style as he made his final career start on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
After partaking in the pre-race autograph session, Love would finish seventh in his heat, forcing him to run the b-main. Love would battle hard throughout the entire b-main to post a fourth place finish, qualifying for the feature.
Starting 18th, Love would battle hard throughout the whole beginning of the feature, running 17th as of the first caution at lap 14. The restart would bring a blown motor for a fellow competitor, allowing Love to move up to the 16th position.
Love would then battle hard throughout the final 11 laps of the feature en route to a 16th place finish.
