September 6th Race #28
After the rain out Saturday night, we ran both our Late Model and Modified at Flamboro Speedway. It was Memorial Night at Flamboro, a night set aside to honor all the men and women who have passed away, that use to race at Flamboro Speedway.
We ran a total of 5 races on this night, 3 in our Chevy Impala, 2 in the Modified. We had two 7ths and a 4th in the heat races and finished 6th in both features.
It was a good night of racing, weather was much better this day than last night when we were hit by lightning and heavy rains at Full Throttle Speedway.
Our son David, running his Quaker State Pro Late Model Chevy Impala had a great night winning one of his two heats and capturing the checker for the feature event, his 6th in the 2014 season.
David is now first in the points at Flamboro Speedway with his dominance this season. He has a total of 12 wins including his 6 feature wins.
