INNISFIL, Ontario – Terry Woodley would battle hard all Saturday night long at Sunset Speedway in the 35 lap feature to post a solid 11th place finish to complete the 2014 season.
Woodley started off the night by finishing fifth in his heat, forcing him to have to run the consolation race. Woodley would battle hard early in the race, before pulling away and looking to have the win in the bag when the caution flew on the last lap. He would then get a good restart on the Green-White-Checkered to score the victory.
Come feature time, Woodley would start in the sixth spot and with some of the faster cars coming up through the field, he would be running eighth as of the first caution at lap four. That’d be the only caution of the 35 lap feature as the boys and girls of the division ran the rest of the night clean. Woodley would battle hard the rest of the way, falling back to 11th just before the halfway point in the race.
In the second half of the feature, he was able to maintain his track position and stay ahead of the leaders en route to posting an 11th place finish.
