INNISFIL, Ontario – On Thursday night at Sunset Speedway, Lisa DeLeeuw would battle hard throughout the night in trying to become one of the 28 cars to make the A-Main out of the 53 cars that showed up for the event.
DeLeeuw would start off the night by finishing 10th in her heat, forcing her to the C-Main. The C-Main would bring a lot of tough competition, including a couple cautions along the way, however she braved her way through en route to a eighth place finish to qualify for the B-Main.
Unfortunately, the B-Main didn’t go as DeLeeuw would’ve hoped as she’d battle hard throughout the entire race, though would finish 18th and miss the cut.
