INNISFIL, Ontario – Terry Woodley would have a stellar run at the Velocity 250 Mini Stock invitational as he would post his first career top-five finish.
Woodley started off the weekend well, winning both of his qualifying heats to qualify second for the 50 lap feature. Starting in second, Woodley would slip back to third near the beginning, but from there held his own. He stayed in the third spot, weaving in and out of lap traffic while keeping his position.
In the late stages of the event, he would be passed by a couple of cars, bumping him back to the sixth spot. He would cross the line in sixth, but was credited with a fifth place finish after the race winner was DQ’ed.
