INNISFIL, Ontario – Eric Yorke would have a solid run in the Velocity 250 this past weekend at Sunset Speedway as he posted a sixth place finish in the 35-lap feature.
Yorke started off the weekend on Saturday by posting a victory in his first heat after outdueling Samantha Shaw to the checkered flag. He would then finish third in his second heat to solidly qualify him for the feature on Sunday.
Starting near the front in the feature, Yorke would run up front throughout the entire event, weaving left and right through the lap cars as he maintained his track position. Solidly performing up to par throughout the event, Yorke crossed the finish line in sixth place.
