Forget about driving to the race, take the train – FOR FREE! Ride the Auto Club 400 Express to Auto Club Speedway’s Metrolink stop conveniently located just outside the track’s backstretch. From there passengers will board a free tram taking them to the entrance gates. It’s theFAST stress-free way to get to the Auto Club 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
Metrolink tickets must be reserved in advance from Auto Club Speedway. The free train ride will be offered to a limited number of race fans with the support of Clean Transportation Funding from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC). After the limited number of free tickets are depleted, race fans will be able to purchase the discounted $19 round trip train tickets.

What time will the train leave after the race?
Trains will depart one hour after the drop of the checkered flag.
Can I purchase or reserve tickets at my local Metrolink station?
No. Tickets must be reserved or purchased in advance from Auto Club Speedway.
Do children need Metrolink tickets?
Yes, every person riding, including children, will need to have reserved or purchased a Metrolink ticket from Auto Club Speedway.
Will the Metrolink service run on Friday or Saturday?
No. The Metrolink service to the dedicated stop at Auto Club Speedway is only available on Sunday, March 22 for the Auto Club 400.
I have a pit pass. Will I arrive in time to access pit road?
We do not recommend taking the Metrolink express service to the race if you have purchased a pit pass as trains are scheduled to arrive after 9am and pit road will close at approximately 11:15am on Sunday.
I have a ticket package that includes a driver Q&A session. Will I arrive in time?
We do not recommend taking the Metrolink express service to the race if you have purchased a ticket package that includes a driver Q&A. If you have purchased the Jimmie Johnson Foundation Package or any other ticket package with a driver Q&A, please arrange alternate transportation.
