Night Cap…In a rare doubleheader, the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) will kick off a day of racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) before the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) takes center stage in its return to the 1.54-mile quad-oval. James Buescher on Atlanta Motor Speedway
“Atlanta [Motor Speedway] is a track that I always look forward to coming to. This weekend’s race will have a whole different feel to what we are used to running on at Atlanta. The racing surface is worn out and slick, and with the cold weather they are predicting, you will see some loose-handling trucks. I’m looking forward to getting back on track with NTS Motorsports and seeing where we stack up on these intermediate tracks. I really can’t thank everyone at NTS Motorsports enough for giving me this opportunity; Atlanta wasn’t on our original list of races to run this season. I would like nothing more than to go out there and put the NTS Motorsports Chevy Silverado out front and give them a solid finish.”
