As part of the Short Track Night of Champions at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, Willow Barberstock was honored for her 2014 Four Fun Championship. The teenager had a solid year, running inside the top-five all year long and scoring a couple of feature victories.
“We had a good year, very consistent,” she commented. “Came out with a few feature wins so overall, it was a good year. I got to thank my sponsors and OMRS. Without them, I don’t think my racing career could happen.”
With her championship in hand, she will move up to the Ontario Modified Racing Series in 2015 in hopes of continued success.
“It was kind of late thing. I didn’t expect to move up this fast, but I’m excited to see what 2015 brings us,” she shared.
In looking at her goals heading into the year, she hopes to keep the car in one piece and “to try and keep consistent and keep up with the pack”.
