In an unprecedented move for a motorsports facility, Bristol Motor Speedway(BMS) has constructed a new platform to ensure their most loyal customers – as determined by longevity and money spent – receive priority. The new Priority Points program will aid in the allocation of seating, parking and camping for the Battle at Bristol and future events.
The Battle at Bristol is expected to draw more than 150,000 fans when the iconic NASCAR short track transforms into college football’s largest venue Sept. 10, 2016. Touted as a border battle between the University of Tennessee and rival Virginia Tech, the game is on track to crush the current NCAA single-game attendance record of 115,109, which was set in September 2013 at Michigan Stadium.
Only current BMS season ticket holders are able to place a guaranteed deposit for Battle at Bristol tickets through the Speedway and are encouraged to do so before summer. Beginning July 1, BMS NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Combo ticket holders are able to make nonguaranteed deposits for remaining Battle at Bristol tickets. Any unfulfilled ticket requests secured with a deposit will be refunded. Deposits will be processed in the order of customer’s Priority Points total. The deadline to place a deposit on Battle at Bristol tickets is Sept. 10, 2015.
Customers who purchased BMS tickets in 2014 – ’15 will receive a customized mailer within a few weeks containing an example of their Priority Point’s calculation and detailed brochure. The brochure is also available online by visiting BattleAtBristolTix.com or by calling 844-367-6175.
To increase an account’s Priority Points total, purchase tickets for the upcoming NASCAR race weekend April 17 – 19. Food City 500 tickets start at just $64, or to experience a summer of fun with the best value, BMS season tickets begin at $149. Prices increase by $5 race week beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, April 12. For more information visit BristolTix.com or to purchase tickets call 423-BRISTOL.
