David Levine
No. 59 Gary Yeomans Ford
Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville
April 11, 2015
ARCA Racing is back at a historic track… With 23 years passing since the last ARCA Series race at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville, David Levine won’t be the only driver new to the track. Most of the field will enter the race without having previously competed at the .596 mile paved oval. David is excited to be part of ARCA’s return to this historic track that last saw an ARCA race a few years before he was born.
ARCA Racing top Rookie… With solid performances in the first two races of the year, David takes to the track in Nashville leading the 2015 ARCA Scott Rookie Challenge standings. Brandon Jones, currently second in the rookie standings, is also on the entry list for the race.
ARCA Racing autographs… David, along with his teammate Michael Lira, will be participating in the driver autograph session being held at the track from 5:15-5:45pm on Saturday. If you’re coming to the race, be sure to come down and say ‘hi’!
Gary Yeomans Ford keys to victory… The key to victory for David will be similar to most other drivers in the event; get up to speed fast on a track new to the drivers. David has a teammate, in Michael Lira, who has experience on a variety of similar-sized tracks to turn to for guidance. He also has experienced crew chief, Sam Schram, to help him dial the car in to the track quickly, in what will be a fast-paced day with less than eight hours between first practice and the drop of the green flag. Relying on his strong Lira Motorsports team, as well as his own past experience, to get up to speed fast will be David’s Gary Yeomans Ford keys to victory in Nashville on Saturday.
David Levine on Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville: “I’m anxious to get to Nashville and get on the track. As a rookie, this is probably the most level playing field I’m going to get all season, racing at a track where most of the other drivers have never been to before either. The goal for me and my Lira Motorsports number 59 team is to build off of each finish, and carry momentum from race to race. I finished 16th at Daytona, then 12th in Mobile. We are definitely capable of breaking into the top ten this weekend, and with it being a new track for everyone, I feel we’ll be within reach to contend for the win. I think it will be an exciting race for the fans to watch, and I plan on racing hard to maintain my points lead in the ARCA Scotts Rookie Challenge standings.”
