Michael Lira
No. 58 Gary Yeomans Ford
Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville
April 11, 2015
Hard charging High School Senior… Last month at the ARCA Mobile 200 Michael won the CGS Imaging Hard Charger award. With qualifying for the race rained out, he started at the back in the 23rd spot and picked up 15 positions to finish 8th. It was the Spruce Creek High School Senior’s fifth career top ten finish in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards.
Learn more about Michael… Michael, along with his teammate David Levine, will be participating in the driver autograph session being held at the track from 5:15-5:45pm on Saturday. If you’re coming to the race, be sure to come down and say ‘hi’!
Gary Yeomans Ford keys to victory… Learn fast! With the majority of the expected starting field having no experience at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville, the race winner will likely be the driver who can learn the fastest way around the track the quickest. With practice, qualifying and the race all in the same day, Michael and veteran crew chief Teddy Brown will be working very closely, as usual, on getting the right set-up on the car quickly. Michael’s proven ability to adapt to different tracks will come into play as his Gary Yeomans Ford key to taking the checkered flag on Saturday.
Michael Lira on Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville: “I was really hoping we would be able to test at the speedway before the race, but we were rained out both days we had scheduled to be there. It will be interesting racing on a track that all the drivers are as unfamiliar with as I am. This is really exciting to be a part of bringing ARCA back to a facility with such a long history in motorsports. I’m confident that my Lira Motorsports team will unload a great Gary Yeomans Ford / TraqGear / AttorneyAtLaw.com Fusion in Nashville, and that we’ll have a strong race and be up front at the finish, with a chance for victory.”

The green flag will fall for the Troop Aid 200 at 8:00pm. All times are Central Daylight Savings Time. The race is scheduled for 200 laps / 119.2 miles. Live timing and scoring will be available at ARCAracing.com. The race will also be available to fans on a pay-per-view basis on the ARCA website, visit www.arcaracing.com for details.
