BROOKLYN, Mich. (April 7, 2015) — If you’ve ever wanted to know what food a wine or beer is best paired with, look no further than a food pairing with an accomplished chef. The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson on May 9 at Michigan International Speedway is the spot for you.
The popular wine and food pairings have been a hit with guests and will return for this year’s Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson.
The pairings, demonstrated by MIS’ Executive Chef Carl Van Wagner, are on sale in advance of the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson for $15 per pairing. Advance pairing purchases can be made by calling 800-354-1010. You must have an admission ticket to the wine fest to attend.
“It’s not just a great glass of wine or beer that makes the dining experience a positive one, but also the food that it is paired with,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “Each one is unique so it’s important to get the right combination of food paired with the correct wine or beer. These pairings are sure to be a big hit and will sell out quickly.”
The pairings will feature a two-ounce pour of wine or beer from a participating winery or brewery at the fest, along with a sample of food that complements it.
Each pairing is limited to 60 guests so advance tickets will likely be the only tickets available.
The lineup is staggered so guests may choose to attend one or all. Each pairing is sold separately.
