April 13, 2015 (Concord, NC) – Brandon Jones, behind the wheel of his No.25 Ansell-Menards Toyota, finished fourth Saturday night in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Troop Aid 200 from Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.
“We had a good car and strategy but a lot of green flag runs forced us to save tires like everyone else and wait it out. I expected a lot more cautions to help us out,” said Jones. “At the end I gave it everything I had but for some reason I just couldn’t get up and go. Chassis wise we were really good all day. Overall I can’t complain too much getting out of here with the finish we had. We’ll pick it back up at Salem in a couple weeks.”
The Atlanta, Georgia native’s fourth place finish at Nashville marked his fifth top-five finish in five series attempts. Jones also earned the Scott Highest Finishing Rookie of the Race honors at Nashville for the second consecutive race.
Jones won in his first two ARCA attempts at Winchester Speedway and Lucas Oil Raceway in 2014, finished second in his first attempt earlier this year at Mobile International Speedway, and third last year at Madison Int’l Speedway.
Jones, who drives the No. 25 Ansell-Menards Toyota Camry for Venturini Motorsports, is splitting the season this year with 10-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel in the No. 25 Toyota, each with 10 races apiece.
Jones will be back behind the wheel of the No.25 in the next event at Salem Speedway on April 26th.
The ARCA Racing Series was making its first appearance at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville since 1992 and had near-perfect weather conditions for the 200-lap, 119-mile event. The race, which was available on a pay-per-view basis on the arcaracing.com web site, saw three cautions for 34 laps and was over in one hour and 27 minutes.
