Joliet, IL — April 7, 2015 — 2010 Daytona 500 Champion Jamie McMurrayand 2014 Heisman Trophy Runner-UpMelvin Gordon are partnering to co-host a celebrity bowling event on April 28, prior to the NFL Draft, and Chicagoland Speedway fans now have an exclusive opportunity to purchase a ticket to the event and Chicagoland’s June’s XFINITY Series race.
Tickets to Stars and Strikes are $100, with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). Fans will have an opportunity to enjoy complimentary food, beer and soft drinks while meeting celebrity athletes and entertainers in addition to playing billiards and bidding on exclusive items in a live auction. Beyond the night of celebrity entertainment, purchasers will also receive a ticket to Chicagoland Speedway’s stand-alone June XFINITY Series race on Father’s Day Weekend as a part of the $100 package.
Stars and Strikes, which runs from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., will be held at Lucky Strike in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. The event will feature celebrity athletes and entertainers in addition to Gordon, the Wisconsin Badgers standout, and McMurray, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star. Only 150 tickets are available for purchase and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Chicagoland Speedway’s June XFINITY Series weekend takes place June 19-20 during a rare off-weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. On Saturday night, watch NASCAR’s rising stars hit the track in the perfect Father’s Day outing with dad.
