INNISFIL, Ontario — On Saturday night, Lisa DeLeeuw would battle hard en route to a 15th place finish at Sunset Speedway.
DeLeeuw started off the night by finishing eighth in her heat, which would force her to run the b-main. She would then finish fourth in the b-main to qualify for the 20-lap feature.
Starting from deep in the field, she would battle hard through the early going, while avoiding a spin ahead of her just before the halfway mark to run 11th at the halfway mark. Through the second half of the feature, she would continue to battle hard, though fell back a couple spots in the late going to finish 15th.
