UNOH 200 Event Preview – Bristol Motor Speedway
Jones Returns, Ready to Battle at Bristol
Welcome Back… Brandon Jones will return to seat of the No. 33 MasterForce Chevrolet when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) visits Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway for the UNOH 200. The 200-lap event marks Jones’ third NCWTS start at Bristol and ninth NCWTS race of the 2015 season.
Bristol History… The 18-year-old Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender is a veteran at the Tennessee short track with a combined five starts in the NCWTS and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. After proving to be successful with top-10 finishes at the half-mile track in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE), Jones cut his teeth in NCWTS at Bristol Motor Speedway making some of the earliest starts in his career at the track. Most recently, Jones finished fifth at Bristol in the NKNPSE race this April.
Season Rewind… The Atlanta native kicked off his season with GMS Racing at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway where he finished 15th after battling back from being one lap down to the leaders. Jones continued to build momentum, picking up his first top-10 of the season at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. Prior to climbing out of the No. 33 for the last three races, Jones visited Iowa Speedway and Kentucky Speedway where he added a career-best second-place finish and added an additional top 10 to his record. The No. 33 is currently seventh in the NCWTS owner point standings.
Bristol Chassis Choice… Jones will pilot chassis No. 009 for Wednesday night’s race. This is the third time this Chevrolet will take to the track in 2015 with Jones previously posting an eighth-place result at Dover and a career-best second-place finish at Iowa.
Meet Brandon… Jones is scheduled to participate in a Q&A session at the Team Chevy display in the midway area on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

BRANDON JONES QUOTES:
On returning to the No. 33:
“I’m really excited to get back in the MasterForce Chevrolet. Shane (Huffman) and the crew have learned a lot with Austin and Ty (Dillon) filling in, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us the rest of the season. We had a couple good finishes at Iowa and Kentucky. I think we’ll be able to pick up where we left off and hopefully get a few more top fives and a win. We’re so close to getting to Victory Lane. It would be great to be able to do that at Bristol.”
How do you feel about your chances at Bristol?
“I think we’ll have a great truck. We tested Bristol a couple weeks ago and that was one of the best tests I’ve ever had. We had a really solid day there. I was very smooth and I’m starting to get a really good feel for these trucks. Shane (Huffman) and the guys picked up a lot of good information, so we should be set up for another strong run in our MasterForce Chevrolet.”
