INNISFIL, Ontario — On Saturday night, Jade Franklin battled hard throughout the night en route to a 14th place finish to complete his rookie Super Stock season.
Franklin started off the night strong, finishing third in his heat. He would then finish ninth in the Fast Qualifer’s Dash to set him up for the 50-lap feature.
Starting ninth for the feature, Franklin battled hard throughout, but would fall back to the 15th spot with 15 laps to go in the feature. He continued to battle hard, though, crossing the finish line in the 14th spot.
Despite not having the feature that he would’ve preferred on Saturday night, Franklin had a strong rookie season overall with a heat win, two b-main wins and a top-10 feature finish a couple weeks ago.
Thanks to Destination RV, Adco Tire, Nitro Industrial Sales, Elite Graphics & Marketing, North River Motorsports and King’s Marine for the continued support.
With the Sunset Speedway points season compete, Franklin will now turn his attention to the Autumn Colors Classic at Peterborough Speedway in October. Details about the event can be found at http://www.peterboroughspeedway.com.
