Brandon Lynn will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut on Saturday in the Federated Car Care Fall Classic 200 at Salem Speedway. The twenty-year old driver will be behind the wheel for Lira Motorsports in the number 36 car, with Cribs Creek Outfitters as his primary sponsor.
“I’m looking forward to making my debut in the ARCA Series with Lira Motorsports,” Brandon recently commented. “Carlos, Michael and the whole Lira family have given me a great opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to do. I know the No. 36 will be fast, and my hope is to showcase that on September 19th.”
Brandon tested at Salem Speedway on Monday, gaining valuable experience in the seat of an ARCA car for the first time. The team tested multiple chassis set-ups in preparation for Saturdaynight’s race.
“I’ve never raced at Salem before, but Monday’s test went great and I’m excited to be making my ARCA debut there,” Brandon stated. “My overall goal is to have a run that my team, my family, as well as myself can be proud of at the end of the day. Every driver wants to win and I’m going to give every effort I can to go for the win. But overall, I just want to have fun doing what I love to do and bring home a solid finish.”
Brandon is part of a four-driver line-up for Lira Motorsports. Salem will be the first race in which the team, in its first year of ARCA Racing competition, is fielding four cars. To date, the team has collected 15 top ten ARCA finishes, including one win at Chicagoland Speedway with driver Ryan Reed.
Brandon will be signing his new Lira Motosports hero cards at the on-track autograph session between 4:45-5:15pm. Be sure to stop by and wish him ‘good luck’ in his ARCA Racing debut!
“I have to thank my family and friends for their support. Without them, none of this would be possible. I also have to thank Lira Motorsports again for this once in a lifetime opportunity, I hope I can make them all proud! Last, but not least, I have to thank Cribs Creek Outfitters.”
On-track schedule: On Saturday, September 19th, the ARCA Series drivers have practice from 12:30-1:15pm, followed by final practice from 1:45-2:30. Menards Pole Qualifying Presented by Ansell is set for 4:00. There is an autograph session shortly after the completion of qualifying, from 4:45-5:15. The green flag for the Federated Car Care Fall Classic 200 is scheduled for 7:15pm. The race distance is 200 laps (111 miles).
