SPARTA, Ky. (September 26, 2015) – Ryan Reed took the checkered flag on Saturday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series Crosley 150 to capture his second career ARCA Racing Series win. “It’s amazing when you drive as good of race cars as this one, how fun it can be,” said Reed. “We started the day off in maybe an eighth-place car, but my crew chief, Teddy Brown, and everyone at Lira Motorsports did a great job tuning up our hot rod. We just never gave up. We got out front and got track position.” Reed started the 100-lap event from the seventh position after qualifying ninth on Friday afternoon. With the race post posted from last night’s scheduled start due to weather, some teams decided to make adjustments, sending them to the back and bumping up Reed’s starting position. After taking the green flag on the 1.5-mile track, the field was slowed by caution before they could complete a lap. Reed had moved up to the fifth position, where he would restart on Lap nine. On the impending restart, Reed missed a shift, dropping him back to the 12th positon. He quickly rebounded and was up to ninth by Lap 13. A brief rain shower slowed the field on Lap 40. Reed had made his way up to the seventh position and reported that the car was tight. Under caution, crew chief Teddy Brown brought Reed down pit road for four tires and a track bar adjustment.
