LARSON LOOKS FOR A STRONG RUN DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS
After two weeks off, the NASCAR XFINITY Series returns for the final three-race stretch of the season. Kyle Larson is set to make his 12th XFINITY Series start of 2015 and fifth at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) this weekend. In four previous starts at the 1.5-mile speedway, Larson has one top five and two top-10 finishes. His best start was 12th in 2013 and best result was third in 2014. Larson will run the remaining three XFINITY Series races in Texas, Phoenix and Homestead.
WELCOME BACK PARKERSTORE
Larson will carry the black and yellow colors of ParkerStore this weekend at TMS. This weekend’s race marks the second and final primary race this season. Larson finished third in ParkerStore’s first primary race at Michigan International Speedway in June. ParkerStore also served as a presenting sponsor of the Kyle Larson’s Outlaw Karting Showcase in September.
KANSAS RECAP
While Larson is driving the ParkerStore Chevrolet Camaro this weekend, Brennan Poole was behind the wheel of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro for the final time in 2015 at Kansas Speedway. Poole started the 200-lap race in the 16th position and worked his way up into the top 10, before coming home in the 13th position.
LARSON ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
“Texas is a track that has multiple grooves, which is good for us as drivers. It’s one of my favorite tracks. I am very excited to be back behind the wheel of an XFINITY Series car and especially with ParkerStore returning on the side this weekend.”
CREW CHIEF MIKE SHIPLETT ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
“Texas Motor Speedway is a track that changes a lot from practice to the race. As the race goes along, the track gains a lot of grip and is very fast. Kyle has a great record on 1.5-mile tracks, and we hope this weekend is no different for our ParkerStore Camaro team.”
