Oxford Plains – After a one week break the cars and stars of the Les Enterprises M.P. Roy Inc Pro Late Model Series invaded the Oxford Plains Speedway for the Hanson’s Starter Shop 100. 30 drivers signed in but only 28 would see the green flag.
CJ LaVair in his first race back with the URL would capture the NHR Pole Award and led the field to the green flag. The race went green for the first 25 laps before an argument over track real estate between Justin Fuller and Bruce Hilton would bring out the first caution.
On the restart it didn’t take a long time as the 20 of Al Smith Jr would pinch the 17 of Philip Thompson and would spin collecting the 18 of AJ Hamel and the 91 of Justin MacDuff. The first lead change came on a restart when defending champion Brandon Oddo would get into the left rear of LaVair spinning him out. This would give the lead to the 41 of EJ Orourke. Tony Monge would take the lead from Orourke on lap 61 and would not look back after holding off multiple drivers for his first win of the season.
Justin Fuller would drive back to a second place finish followed by the Mach 2 Management Hard Charger of Stefan Marinak, Brian Rogers and round out the top 5 Rodney Haack. The Adasign Wraps Rookie of the Race was the 96 of Stefan Marinak. The series heads to the paperclip of Martinsville Thursday November 12th for the Brian Rogers Motorsports Doing the Dew 100.
