The report also states that the organization will run Joe Gibbs Racing motors with Lane serving as Armstrong’s crew chief.
The 24-year-old finished 12th in last year’s points standings, following a six-race stint with Richard Childress Racing.
J.J. Yeley drove the No. 28 Camry last year, finishing 12th in points with a season-high fourth at Talladega Superspeedway for the team’s sole top-10 performance of the season.
