Fans interested in camping must RSVP by Sunday, Feb. 14, and can do so by visitingwww.texasmotorspeedway.com/DaytonaRSVP. Tailgaters will be permitted to show up on race days and do not need to RSVP.
“This is the next best thing to being there,” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “I could not think of a better way to celebrate the first NASCAR weekend of the season than by watching two great races with other fans on the world’s largest HDTV screen. It promises to be a fun weekend for everyone that will be out here.”
Texas Motor Speedway will open the infield at 8 a.m. CT Saturday, Feb. 20, to allow fans to select a spot on a first-come, first-choice basis for overnight camping purposes as well as for tailgaters. The fans will be treated to that day’s season-opening NASCAR XFINITY Series race at 2:30 p.m. on “Big Hoss”. There will be two movies shown that evening for overnight campers. The infield opens once again at 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, in advance of the Daytona 500 that begins at 12 p.m. CT.

The Team Texas Driving Experience will offer the opportunity to take a few laps in a two-seater NASCAR-style stock car for $99 from 12:30- 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Fans can take a free ride in the speedway’s official Chevrolet SS pace cars Sunday only from 10 a.m.-Noon.
