The backbone of Mobile International Speedway, Bombers, Sportsman and Trucks will be featured on Friday, Pole Night, of the NASCAR K & N Mobile 150 weekend on March 11th and 12th.
“We expanded the Friday night line-up last year to showcase the guys who make Mobile one of the most popular tracks in the South. We’ll qualify the NASCAR cars and then turn our local guys loose and hang on because they put on a great show,” said NASCAR K & N Mobile 150 Promoter Tommy Praytor.
No driver has had more success on Friday night than Sportsman Competitor Steve Buttrick. Buttrick has won the last two Juke Boxes in the Sportsman Division at MIS and also owns a handful of Snowball Derby trophies.
Youngster Jake Moore won his first Juke Box in 2015 in the Truck division while a pack of hungry veterans were close on his heels. Okie Mason, Jessie Reed, Howard Langham and Steven Davis are part of the old guard looking for their shot at this year’s Juke Box.
Matt Jackson started his 2015 Bomber Championship campaign winning the Bomber Division Juke Box in 2015. The Bombers provide some of the most exciting action at Mobile and expect Jackson’s teammate Derek “Kane” Long will be a handful for Jackson in the 2016 version.
