After getting by Toby Price with two laps to go, Burt Jenner (featured No. 50) never looked back as he led the rest of the way en route to scoring the SPEED Energy Stadium Super Trucks presented by Traxxas victory. It marks a solid turn around for Jenner after finishing eighth in the first event.
Price would finish second after leading from the pole; Price got to start pole virtue of issues during yesterday’s event. Robby Gordon would finish third, followed by Sheldon Creed and Mathew Brabham; Creed was the winner yesterday.
Keegan Kincaid finished sixth, followed by Paul Morris, Rob Cowie, Robbie Pierce and Bill Hynes. Greg Gartner and Matt Mingay rounded out the field.
The racing action didn’t go as Gartner or Mingay would’ve hoped on Saturday. Mingay was running in the second spot on lap one when he’d get a little sideways off of a ramp; causing the truck to roll over. Meanwhile, Gartner would get together with Pierce, driving him off the track, after contact from Morris; Gartner would then go for a spin by himself.
The Stadium Super Trucks will return to the track for theirĀ final round of racing, on March 5 at 8:30 pm EST.
