China Grove, N.C. (March 21, 2016) – National Auto Sport Association (NASA) driver Brian Henderson will make his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut at Virginia International Raceway in the Biscuitville 125 on Saturday, April 30th with Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM). Henderson will combine this effort with a start at Dominion Raceway in the ComServe Wireless Memorial Day Classic on Monday, May 30th, both behind the wheel of the No. 46 Chevrolet SS.
The 18-year-old Virginia-native is new to the NASCAR touring series, but he is no rookie to motorsports. He has been racing since the age of five, winning his first karting championship a year later at King George Speedway. Henderson raced multiple divisions in the World Karting Association and Virginia Dirt Karting Association from 2005 to 2012, winning multiple races, poles, and a championship.
Henderson moved to road-racing in full-size cars in 2013, winning in his first race from the pole starting position, after graduating from the NASA driving school. In 2014, Henderson competed in the NASA Mid-Atlantic Series in the Spec Miata class, finishing 2nd overall and earning Rookie of the Year honors. In 2015, Henderson finished 2nd again in the Mid-Atlantic Series championship and also finished 4th in his first National event at the NASA Eastern States Championships. Henderson also gained valuable oval track experience in a Late Model Stock Car in 2015, competing in races in Virginia and North Carolina earning multiple top-10 finishes.
Henderson, also a mechanical engineering student at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, believes his road-racing experience, especially at Virginia International Raceway, will give him an edge in his K&N Pro Series East debut. Prior to the race, Henderson and the PPM team will test at Virginia International Raceway on April 20th.

The Biscuitville 125 at Virginia International Raceway gets underway at 2:00pm ET on Saturday, April 30th. The ComServe Wireless Memorial Day Classic begins at 2:00pm ET on Monday, May 30th.
