Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 24 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet, for Hendricks Motorsports, won the pole with a time of 192.661 and will lead the 40 drivers to the green flag for the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 Dow-Engergy & Water/Intellifresh Chevrolet, for Richard Childress Racing will start in second position with the time of 192.424.
Elliott’s Hendricks Motorsport teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start in third, followed by Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson in fourth and fifth.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards and Paul Menard round out your top ten.
