Moving up to the Mini Stock division, Cameron McGlashan knew it’d be an additional challenge. However, so far he is doing a commendable job as he posted a top-10 finish on opening night.
He started off the night solidly, finishing sixth in his heat to set him up for the Fast Qualifier’s Dash, where he finished 11th.
Starting the feature in the second position, McGlashan would fall back to eighth in the first 1/3 of the race before the first caution at lap 12 for Stefan Woyslaw and Dave Crumbie getting together in turn two. Following the restart, McGlashan fell back to the 11th spot over the span of the next couple of laps, battling an ill-handling car. He would keep it straight, though, and made a pass in the late stages to cross the finish line in the 10th spot.
