Despite starting deep in the field for the feature, Lisa DeLeeuw would battle throughout the feature en route to a top-10 finish.
She’d start off the night solidly with a solid run in her heat, before running into mechanical problems during the b-main that sent her off the track early.
Starting deep in the field for the feature, she’d make her way up to 11th by the first caution at lap eight for an incident involving Billy McLeod and Morgan Robson Jr. She’d make her move on the restart, battling Peter Wakeling for the ninth spot at lap 11 when the caution flew for a second time due to a spin by Melissa Bullen.
DeLeeuw would get another good restart to move up to the ninth spot, making a pass by Fred Jordan in the final laps to cross the finish line in eighth.
