During time trials for the World of Outlaw event at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, Dave Blaney was involved in a violent crash.
Blaney hit the Turn one wall which caused his car to flip multiple times, before landing in Turn two. He remained in his car for several minutes before he was removed from it and placed on a backboard, awake and alert, there was a LifeFlight helicopter on site but wasn’t needed to transport Blaney as he was able to be transported to a local hospital by ground transportation.
Motter Motorsports, the Sprint Car team he drives for indicates that he suffered no breaks or fractures and he is sore. He was released from hospital later on in the evening.
Dad is alright, got his bell rung pretty good but is up and being himself. Thanks for all the support.
