The fans at Flamboro Speedway were delivered a show this past weekend by the OSCAAR Mdigets as it’d be Brian Woodland edging James Stanley at the line to score the feature victory.
Richard Woodland won the first heat followed by Ryan Brown, Larry Lawson, Wally Wilson, Russ Couture and Zack Millman.
Brian Woodland won the second heat ahead of James Stanley, Wayne McKibbon, Brian MacDonald and Alex Cuzzilla.
The third heat didn’t go as Brown wanted as he’d run into an issue. Brian Woodland went for the clean sweep ahead of Richard Woodland, McKibbon and Couture.
The fourth and final heat saw Zack Millman run into issues, while James Stanley picked up the win ahead of Larry Lawson, Brian MacDonald, Alex Cuzzilla and Wally Wilson.
As noted, the fans were treated to a thrilling feature with battles throughout the entire event right down to the checkered flag. Brian Woodland completed the hat track in style, edging James Stanley by inches at the line to score the checkered flag. It’s no surprise to see either driver running up front as Woodland won at Grand Bend last August, while Stanley posted three top-five finishes last year.
Brian Woodland rounded out the podium, followed by Brian MacDonald and Wayne McKibbon. It marks McKibbon’s first top-five in over a year as he struggled last season, only posting a pair of top-10 finishes. Sophomore driver Wally Wilson wound up sixth despite struggling a little during qualifying on Saturday night.
Larry Lawson finished seventh, followed by Russ Couture, Adam Cuzilla, Ryan Brown and Zack Millman.
The OSCAAR Midgets will be back in action this coming weekend at Peterborough Speedway, along with the debut of the OSCAAR Pro Midgets.
