Lisa DeLeeuw kept up her strong start to the season by posting a top-10 finish on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
DeLeeuw started off the night solidly, finishing eighth in her heat.
With the re-draw in place for the feature line-up, she’d start 14th for the 20-lap event. She quickly began to make her way forward, running as high as ninth with 12 laps to go. She’d continue to move forward running seventh at Lap 14.
Despite some havoc at the front of the field in the closing stages, she was able to avoid it all, crossing the line in the seventh spot.
