MOORESVILLE, North Carolina (June 3, 2016) – – Officials from Rette Jones Racing (RJR) announced today the signing of Corey Deuser to the company’s driver development program, effective immediately.
Deuser, 18, joins Rette Jones Racing after competing in the JEGS / CRA All-Star Tour Series for the past three seasons, including scoring a noteworthy win in 2013 at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway. Other accolades for Deuser include winning the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title and finishing second in series’ points in 2013.
“This is a real honor for me,” said Deuser of joining the Rette Jones Racing driver development program. “Great things are happening for the team right now and I don’t think I could have joined the team at a better time. I’m looking forward to working with Mark (Rette) and Terry (Jones) and the rest of the RJR team and see what kind of results we can put together.”
Rette says adding Deuser to his driver roster for the 2016 season is a real benefit to his growing operation.
“Corey has a lot of talent and we’re happy to have him under our roof,” sounded Rette. “I think Corey andDominique (Van Wieringen) will mesh well and they will be instrumental in the growth of our team. Terry and I are very excited about the rest of the season and we have a lot more in the works.”
Deuser’s 2016 full schedule and marketing partners are forthcoming, but his tentative first start is the upcoming ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway on June 26.
