by Tommy Goudge (June 8, 2016) – Ohsweken, Ontario – Ohsweken Speedway’s 21st season of racing continues this Friday, June 10 when the Rochester Knighthawks Lacrosse Club presents Hot Rod Cruise Night featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour versus the Kool Kidz-Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Cars.
Calling all Hot Rodders! All fans who cruise to the track in their Hot Rod this Friday will be admitted for just $10. The event is part of this weekend’s Ontario Hot Rod Tour, with stops in the Windsor, Hamilton, Niagara, Guelph, and London areas. Visit www.OntarioHotRodTour.com to join the fun!
The Kool Kidz Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Cars will defend home turf against the Patriot Sprint Tour on Friday. The Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Cars, Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers will also be contesting the 4th round of their weekly racing series.
An average of 111 drivers have signed in for the first 3 rounds of Ohsweken’s 2016 season. Jake Brown (360 Sprint Cars), Ryan Hunsinger (Crate Sprint Cars), Dave Bailey (Thunder Stocks), Jon Janssens (Mini Stocks), and Wayde Thorne (Bombers) lead the championship standings in their respective divisions heading into this Friday’s event.
