DeLeeuw kept her strong start to the season going as she’d post her fourth top-10 finish of the season this past weekend at Sunset Speedway.
On Saturday, she started off the evening by finishing sixth in her heat, followed by an 11th place finish in the Fast Qualifier’s Dash.
DeLeeuw started off the feature solidly, but was ultimately running 13th with five laps to go. She made a strong charge in the final laps, though, passing some cars on the last lap to finish 12th.
On Sunday, she’d start off the afternoon by finishing sixth in her heat, followed by a victory in the Fast Qualifier’s Dash. Starting the feature from the seventh spot, she’d slip back a spot prior to the first caution on Lap 7. She’d hold her ground through the second half of the feature, but ultimately crossed the line in the 10th spot.
