Lisa DeLeeuw continued her solid performances, posting her fifth top-10 of 2016 on Friday night at Sunset Speedway.
The night didn’t start off as she hoped as she’d pulled off midway through her qualifier due to contact with another car. As a result, she’d have to start tail end on the field for the feature.
She’d escape the early incidents to make up ground, crossing the finish line in the 11th spot. However, with one of the top-five finishers getting DQ’d post-race, she’d be credited with a 10th place finish.
