Despite being involved in an incident in the early stages of the feature, Terry Woodley rebounded to post a sixth place finish on Friday night.
Woodley started the night off by finishing fifth in his heat, before drawing the third starting spot for the 25-lap feature. Woodley maintained his position in the very early stages, though slipped back to fourth by Lap 3.
He’d continue to run fourth, closing in on third place runner Chris Allard. Unfortunately, the battle for third had some contact involved, which resulted in Allard spinning. as a result, Woodley was sent to the back as an involved car.
Restarting at the tail, he’d begin to make ground immediately, crossing the finish line in the eighth spot. Though he was credited with sixth as the first and second place cars were both disqualified post-race.
Notably, Woodley has posted 20 straight top-10 finishes dating all the way back to last season.
