SAUBLE BEACH, ON – True race fans can’t wait for the weekend to catch a night or two at the track, while this weekend race fans will be able to get three nights of racing at Sauble Speedway. With Canada’s 149th birthday falling on Friday this week Sauble planned a 3 day package of racing with a little bit of everything to please all forms of short track fans.
Things will kick off Friday July 1st at 7 PM with the No Fenders Allowed show featuring The Canadian Vintage Modifieds, OSCAAR Midgets along with the OSCAAR Modifieds and capping night off with the CanAm Midgets.
Saturday things kick off again at 7PM for the LandShark Launch Party featuring Thunder Cars, Four Cylinders, Bone Stocks, Jr Late Models and CanAm Midgets. Plus there will be give aways from LandShark Lager plus a live band from 10PM till Midnight.
Then we wrap things up on Sunday afternoon starting at 2:30PM with our first Invitational Sunday featuring the 2016 running of the Rick Woolner Memorial Open Wheel Modified race with over $15,000.00 in prizes to be awarded making it the richest open wheel modified race in the Province. Plus there will also be Late Models, Thunder Cars, Four Cylinders and Bone Stocks on the card to round out the weekend.
Because of this special three day racing weekend Sauble Speedway will be offering drivers and fans alike a special pricing package. Buy two days of either Grandstand or Pit passes and get the THIRD DAY FREE packages can be bought at the gate when you arrive. Pits will be $30 per day or $60 for the weekend and the Grandstand will be Adults $20 per day or $40 for the weekend kids 6 to 12 are $5 per day or $10 for the weekend and kids 5 and under are free all the time.
