Being able to call himself a race winner happened this past weekend for Wally Wilson at Sauble Speedway.
Wilson started off the night in OSCAAR Midget presented by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop first heat action by posting a fourth place finish.
The second heat, though, is when everything came together as he picking up his first career heat victory.
Ultimately, the main event didn’t go as well as hoped as an axle issue resulted in a ninth place finish on Friday night.
Notably while the original plan was to run both the Midget and Pro Midget, the Pro Midget event at Grand Bend Speedway was cancelled.

There isn’t much downtime for Wilson and his team as he will head to Flamboro Speedway on July 9 with both his OSCAAR Midget and OSCAAR Pro Midget.
