Despite running into issues during practice, Wally Wilson was able to put together a pair of solid performances on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.
Behind the wheel of his midget, Wilson finished seventh in his pair of heat races. He was able to pick it up a little in the feature later on that night, crossing the finish line in fifth.
Meanwhile, the day didn’t start off as intended with the OSCAAR Pro Midget, running into issues during practice. The Wally Wilson Racing team worked on fixing the car before qualifying, getting out to start the first heat but had to pull off before the green due to continuing problems. He was able to get out for the second heat, crossing the finish line in third.
Come feature time, he’d run the full distance, trying to learn more about the new car and suspension en route to crossing the finish line in fifth.

There isn’t much downtime for Wilson and his team as he will head to Grand Bend Speedway on July 23 with his OSCAAR Pro Midget.
Wilson and team are proud to be supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, HAVE1.COM, and D & M Small Engine Repair this season.
