Despite going for a mid-race spin, Luke Gignac continued his impressive string of finishes with another top-10 on Saturday night at Peterborough.
Gignac started off the night by finishing fifth in the first heat. He then came back stronger in the second heat, picking up the win.
Come feature time, he’d put himself in position for another top-five finish when contact from another competitor resulted in Gignac going for a spin. Restarting from the back of the field, Gignac drove back up to eighth despite fighting a really loose racecar.
The next race for the OSCAAR Modifieds is at Flamboro Speedway on August 6.
