Following a mid-race incident, Terry Woodley failed to finish the 25-lap feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Woodley started off the night well, finishing third in his heat followed by a fifth place finish in the Fast Qualifer’s Dash.
Starting the feature from mid-pack, Woodley put himself inside the top-10 just before halfway. He’d then get alongside Chris Allard for ninth at Lap 15, with the pair battling back and forth. Unfortunately, there’d be contact on Lap 19, resulting in Woodley going around for a spin. Woodley then pulled off, done for the event.
Notably, Woodley had posted 23 straight top-10 finishes dating all the way back to last season coming into the night.
NFC Motorsports, co-owned by Woodley and Lyle McInyre, thanks Nottawasaga Mechanical, Zeggil Custom Homes, CARS Collingwood Automotive Repairs and Services, PWL Electrical, Lil Loads, Wallys Wheels and Complete Welding for their support.
