On Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Cameron McGlashan had a solid run in the feature en route to a top-10 finish.
McGlashan started off the night by finishing eighth in his heat, setting him up t start eighth for the feature. From drop of the green flag, he was poised for a strong run, keeping himself in the top-10 all the way till the first caution flag at Lap 11. His strong run looked as though it’d go affray as at Lap 15, he got real sideway further back in the field, but managed to save it and keep going, keeping himself in the top-10 as he was ninth when the caution flew with five laps to go.
He was able to get going on the final restart, getting by Mike Robinson Jr. to finish the feature in eighth.
