After going around for a spin mid-race, Robert Toope finished the Mighty Mini feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway just outside of the top-10.
Toope started off the night solidly, finishing fourth in his heat, followed by a 10th place finish in the Fast Qualifier’s Dash.
Starting mid-pack for the feature, Toope was solidly set on making ground en route to a promising finish, though found himself facing the wrong way with six to go after being spun in turns three and four by a fellow competitor.
Restarting from tail of the field, Toope was able to make up some ground, crossing the finish line in the 13th position.
Toope will be back at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night in search of his 10th top-10 of the season.
