The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes to the high banks of Talladega SuperSpeedway this weekend for the final race in the opening round of the inaugural Chase for the Championship.
Grant Enfinger led the way in opening practice for tomorrow’s fred’s 250 Powered by Coca Cola. Enfinger ran a quick lap of 51.401 seconds (186.300 MPH). Cody Coughlin was second with a speed of 186.275 MPH.
Christopher Bell was third followed by Matt Crafton and John Wes Townley.
Clay Greenfield, Cole Custer, Spencer Gallagher, Matt Tifft, and Timothy Peters rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: William Byron 13th, Johnny Sauter 14th, John Hunter Nemechek 16th, Ben Kennedy 18th, and Daniel Hemric 21st.
