Tyler Reddick has confirmed he will not return to Brad Keselowski Racing for the 2017 Camping World Truck Series season.
Reddick is remaining mum on his plans for next season, however it is being rumored that Reddick will move to Team Penske and compete full time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
“It’s going to be a shame I’m not going to be there next year, but I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve spent there,” said Reddick. “Hopefully I can repay them with two more wins to add to the list.”
In 61 career Truck Series races, Reddick has accumulated three wins, 24 top five, and 39 top 10 finishes. Reddick’s first win came at Daytona in 2015 which set the stage for a season in which he never dropped below third in the championship standings. He would finish second to Erik Jones in the championship.
After being deemed the championship favorite by many before the start of the 2016 season, Reddick didn’t repeat 2015’s success and failed to qualify for the inaugural Truck Series Chase. Reddick did, however, win at Las Vegas just a few weeks ago.
Brad Keselowski Racing will field two new drivers in the Truck Series next season as Daniel Hemric announced earlier this season he would be moving to Richard Childress Racing to compete full time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series next season.
