The Cinderella Story from last year’s NextEra Energy Resources 250 at the Daytona International Speedway, returns piloting the No. 44 SunFrog Chevrolet Silverado. Kendall Bartoloni, Brown’s Marketing Director, revealed to OnPitRoad.com that SunFrog will join the team at Daytona next weekend in the NextEra Energy Resources 250.
A few days following the announcement that Brandon Brown and Tommy Joe Martins had joined forces for the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season, Brandon Brown has gained a sponsor for the season opening race at The Daytona International Speedway.
Last season, Brandon Brown joined forces with NCASE-IT where he became the Cinderella story with his team when he gained a Top-5 finish and entered the following weekend at Atlanta fourth in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points. From Atlanta to Kansas, he was able to gain three straight Top-20 finishes but then at Dover, a suspension issue ended his day and streak of Top-20 finishes. Brown made seven more starts following Dover including a DNS and a DNF. At Gateway, an engine failure ended his day before it even got started. At Talladega, Brown was having a successful day until he was involved in the “big one”.
